held a neighborhood party/saftey event in the parking lot that my studio is located at, last Tuesday evening. I took the opportunity to introduce myself and the studio by handing out bubbles to the children and passing out my business cards. And of course I had to snap a few photos as well! You have to LOVE the resilience of children. It was terribily hot, and humid Tuesday night, but these kids didn’t seem to notice. They were jumping away in the bouncy tent and playing with each without any mention of the extreme heat!
I enjoyed my few moments chatting with this cutie! I noticed she had her swimming goggles around her neck and when I asked her about them she right away put them on for a photo, without me having to ask, which I was going to do! I loved her bug crocks too.
It was a fun night and I love these shots. (I asked permission to share these photos of the children on my blog from their parents.)

lots and lots of them. With each step we take with the finishing the studio two more things are added to get done. BUT I’m not complaining, really, because with each step we are getting that much closer to getting done!
Last night I attened a Mixer with HENMA and became a member. What a friendly helpful group of artists/business owners! I really enjoyed the evening and learned so much already from this community of people..

there it is! my business sign outside the studio. work is starting once again on designing the studio. I have been fighting a cold for a while now.
Really knocked me out and put a halt on me getting over to work, which has been a lesson in patience! Jim has been over several times, WHAT would I
do without him?! And I think I will be able to start work tomorrow! Very excited about getting the studio designed and OPENED. I have some great ideas for
