first day of High School….

It is truly hard to believe that yes, Calvin has started high school today! This is a new beginning for a couple reasons for our family. The high school mile stone is upon us and we are no longer homeschooling! Time has it’s way and we get to marvel at all the memories along the way. Vividly, I can see this young man of ours running to his preschool class with his Cuddy Bear bookbag on his back, at  3 1/2 years old, telling me to just drop him off! Not much has changed, HA! I dropped him off this morning just as I did all those years ago, covered with our prayers and excited for him in this new adventure. ♥

Ty turned 4 years old in April. Seems we have always had this guy. He is such a good dog. I wanted to get a few shots of him playing in the backyard. He loves to tear around the yard when I tell him “go boy go”, which are the ones of him in the collage… He takes defending his backyard territory very seriously. I think his expression in the bottom photo relays that! As I type this post, he is streched out on the floor of my office, as he always is, occupying me… He may grab the occasional food item off the counter when we aren’t to careful. A mini bagel with honey walnut creme cheese was his most recent score. Other than that and, well shedding fur, he is a treasure! I hope we get to celebrate many Ty birthday’s in the future…

I couldn’t watch Jim, working the camera, and not get one of these. Love it…
