I was so surprised yesterday when I received this birdhouse from my Dad. He makes these houses from tree branches he has cut down. This is a front view, where the happy little birds will soon be dwelling…

I love this feature Dad includes in his houses, a plexy-glass back, to view the chicks inside. This branch had a cool natural hole for the opening….

This is the strangest thing, no sooner had Calvin and I hung the house in the back yard, this parrot came out of now where and landed on the house!! I flung my camera around and quickly captured this shot….

OK, so it’s not a REAL parrot! But it really adds to the whole birdhouse post, I think!!
I will be out of town this coming week and unable to answer any emails. Check back next weekend for an update on our trip! As always, thanks for stopping by… Cheers!

Here are a few more recent photos I’ve added to my cemetery series. I’ve added some actions and textures to the statues. I loved the Hope stone.
All for now…
I contacted Theresa of “Blogs for Photogs” to install this fabulous new blog. Theresa was fantastic and I couldn’t be happier with the features this blog provides! You can subscribe for my blog updates… Comments are always welcomed too! I hope you will drop in often…
My first photo post just had to be our son…

Here is my joy~
Last week on some errands downtown I wrangled Calvin into poseing at a few new Urban locations I’ve been dying to photograph at…
Love this Johnny Cash wall…

Calvin with the “Willie’s”

This old red brick wall has some great texture and green vines on part of it. My heart skips a beat when I drive past a fabulous wall. I’m always looking for new backgrounds and am thrilled when I find one like these….
Thanks for dropping… Joy to all…
