All this talk about Senior Portraits got me thinking about MY senior photo. So I went searching for it today. I really can’t say if there are more poses than

this one photo.  And I think I talked my Aunt Lucy out of this copy, which means my Mom would have sent this to her.  The Senior photo is a once in a life-time

photo. I can remember having this taken. Going to the Mall with my Mom to the studio. Feeling out of place rushed and then it was over. I am glad to have this photo. WOW, I was just a KID…

But what I want to create for Seniors coming to me for their, once in a life-time portrait, is something so much more. I want to create an experience. I want my Senior client to leave knowing they were valued. The attention to detail and variety of poses that reflect each Senior I photograph result in one of a kind images. YOUR IMAGE.  I am as passionate about your Senior photos as you are!

Here are a few of my recent session photos to share. I am always happy when a session is over and I am told by the client they had an awesome time! That’s what it’s really all about. Getting there, always results in amazing portraits…

I am happy that I  have started to hear from students interested in possibility becoming Spokesmodels! Well I had one amazing photographing WEEKEND! Starting Friday afternoon with the most amazing family of TEN. Eight siblings ranging in ages from 18 – 2. WONDERFUL family…  Saturday I shot 2 more portrait sessions! Fablous working with them both! SO I have LOTS to share and LOTS of editing to get working on. Truly an adrenaline rush!

Love what you do and do what you love! I am blessed that this is a statement I can say applies to me through my photography. God is good and I am thankful for His blessings!

I have some new session styles and fee options available on my senior site (still need to apply them to my Children’s site). For 2010 I have totally worked over my pricing and package structures also. Something for EVERYONE!

totally INSPIRED!

WOW, what an amazing week! I attended ImagingUSA, PPA’s (Professional Photographers of America) convention this past Thur-Tues, which was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Six full days and nights of classes, my head is cram-packed with the most amazing ideas, lessons, direction and products. I can hardly wait to get STARTED passing this value on to my clients! My pre-convention classes and convention classes were all taught by the industries ROCKSTARS! I felt like a little kid in the candy store at the Exhibit! Getting a chance to see all the fablous new products available, up close and personal, well, let’s just say it was my little piece of heaven on earth! 

 I am overwhelmingly inspired!

Photos from Calvin’s Archery Tournament… This was his first tournament. Over 1000 shooters and it went extremely smooth and quick. Fun event to watch him participate in.

So I went out with my camera and tripod to snap a few shots of our Christmas lights, last night, in the DARK, and COLD. I had fun jumping in a few and making some blurred exposures. Play, everyday!

I am beyond thrilled to announce I have secured a studio space downtown Nashville! The space is still in renovation, which will give me full decorating freedom (insert BIG YAY!) with a projected finish date of early Spring… (insert BIGGER YAY!) I have a million and one ideas running through my mind! Once more work is completed at the space I will post update photos…
